Harriet Plavoukos
Harriet has worked in New Canaan real estate for over 20 years. She joined Brotherhood & Higley in 2008 and prior to that started her real estate career at Preferred Properties, winning many awards for distinction in both listings and sales. Harriet has been a homeowner in New Canaan for 38 years – both children having gone through and graduating from New Canaan public schools. Before entering real estate, Harriet’s entrepreneurial skills were displayed through the founding and success of several local businesses including Harriet Plavoukos Interiors, The Basket Tree and Cachet, the latter two, retail shops in New Canaan. A graduate of Syracuse University and the New York School of Interior Design,  Harriet is active in the New Canaan community having volunteered in various school and sports activities as well as volunteering at Silver Hill Hospital. She is a member of the New Canaan Board of Realtors and a past member of its’ Board of Directors. Harriet currently serves on the Board’s grievance committee and holds the Graduate Realtor  Institute designation.  She is also a member of the National Association of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors, New Canaan Board of Realtors and Fairfield County and New Canaan  Multiple Listing Services.  Harriet is an active member of The Country Club of New Canaan and is a member of the board of directors of Spencer’s Run in Waveny Park.
